Matured in a Triple Cask combination of Bourbon, Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso, with only 96 bottles produced, this no-colouring, non-chill filtered expression is one of the most exceptional independent bottlings available.
36 YEARS OF TRIPLE CASK MATURATION — ONLY 96 BOTTLES – Distilled October 1989 and bottled March 2026, this extraordinary Speyside blended malt was matured across Bourbon, PX and Oloroso casks for 36 years. With only 96 bottles produced from the “Burnside” cask, this is an exceptionally rare collector’s piece of the highest order.
OPULENT & COMPLEX FLAVOUR PROFILE – Rich muscovado, dried fruits, polished oak, walnut, vanilla and coconut on the nose. The palate delivers silky dark chocolate, fruitcake, espresso, spiced oak and vanilla fudge with citrus. The finish is long and warming with cocoa, toasted nuts, leather, seasoned oak and lingering citrus oil.
TRIPLE CASK — BOURBON, PX & OLOROSO – The combination of ex-Bourbon, Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry casks over 36 years creates an extraordinary layering of vanilla sweetness, rich dark fruits and deep nutty spice — a complexity that only decades of patient maturation across multiple cask types can achieve.
